Is a curved bone after a fracture normal?
Q. My son recently broke his forearm. He got his cast off yesterday and there is a visible curve to his bone. It almost looks as bad as it did at the time of the fracture. The docotor said it would correct itself but my husband is extremely worried that something is not right. Does anyone know if that is normal or should I go get a 2nd opinion?

A. well when someone breaks a bone, the area that had the fracture becomes a lot more thicker when healed, to prevent the fracture from occurring again in that exact same location. Maybe thats what happened. You should get it xrayed.
