How do I find my deleted browser history?
Q. Someone borrowed my computer. The internet browser is set to automatically delete the history when it is closed. I am positive there is a way around this, that I can access the browsing history somehow, but I have no idea how to do it. Please tell me how I can access this browsing history on my computer - it is very, very important! Thank you!

A. Hello! In that case I recommend to use system restore. Go to 1) START - help and support - 2) click on 'Undo changes to your computer with System Restore' 3) click on 'Restore my Computer to an earlier time' 4) select the date before you gave your computer away and after a few minutes it will be restored to 'that day'. good luck!

Alternative ways to clear browser history?
Q. I have Mozilla Firefox and I know how to delete my browser history. The problem is that I haven't done it in a very long time, so now there's 80,000 items in my history, and when I try to clear it, Firefox becomes unresponsive and I have to force-quit it. Is there any other way to delete it? I'm on a Mac, by the way.

How do you save browser history[Please read the details]?
Q. Okay, so I think it all started with my clearing the history. I'm not so amazingly good at computers, so I don't know. What I exactly did was go onto tools, Toolbars, history, and deleted all the files from three weeks ago, to whenever I deleted them last week. Since then I haven't been able to save any current browser history, nor passwords. I think I did something to the computer. I'd be very grateful for some help. Please and Thank you :]

Q. We access the Yahoo browser and search various websites without ever signing in to our Yahoo account. How can I view these browser's history? The browser's history is deleted daily. Therefore, I cannot check any prior history.
Asked by Connie Z - Wed Sep 20 15:52:41 2006 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments

A. You cannot see the history like we usually see as you said that your history has been deleted. So you can only view cookies and if you know how to read cookes you can see what has been searched on your PC. Goto your ~Internet Options ~Settings ~View Files ~Then from the folder that has just opened click F3 (of simply seach) and search for "All files and folders" and in the search bar write *.* (asterik dot asterik) this will show you all the cookies, gifs, jpegs, source codes etc etc of the recently visited pages, look for the cookies with name of yahoo and read them. Thats it!

How to delete certain history from the web browser?
Q. So my dad doesn't want me to go on facebook. And I just recently got one. He checks my history browser every month or so and I don't want to have to delete it because he'll think I'm doing something suspicious. I also don't want to have to go to the history browser and delete facebook off the list every single time I go on. Is there a way to make it so he won't find out or make it more simple to delete facebook history? Sorry if I'm being confusing, not too good at explaining.
Asked by Jeffery - Thu Jun 11 11:59:11 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. On internet explorer or Google Chrome, there's a mode called "private" which lets you surf the internet and then automatically deletes all the cookies and history made within that mode. If you don't want your dad suspecting you, simply go on facebook on private mode and other sites in normal mode.

Is it possible for an internet history browser to display a certain page you did not view?
Q. Is it possible for an internet history browser to display a certain page you did not view?I'm using a Mozilla Firefox and when I checked my history sidebar I saw a friendster profile (it's like myspace) of someone I did not view.Could that happen?I am also sharing my pc with someone but he denied to view that certain page.Could he be just lying or could there be a technical malfunction with my history browser?
Asked by Zashikibuta - Sun Aug 17 11:50:57 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. He is probably lying. Technically a web page could load up other pages or redirect or pop up other pages and you might never see them. But a particular friendster profile isn't the sort of thing. Usually these redirections are for the purposes of advertising dubious products.

A. The best thing to do when one ruins part of an application by mistake is to go back to the browsers official website and download it again. That should "refresh" the application and allow you to do everything as usual. However, I recommend using Safari. Safari is rated the fastest browser on Macintosh computers because it is fully integrated with the operating system. Why don't you try switching to Safari? If Safari is not your thing, do what I recommended above. Did this fix your problem? Cheers!

Does a persons web browser history give you the full character?
Q. If you are to look at your own web browser history would it possibly tell someone about your character? Routine, random, that sort of thing. For example: If you are a student, it would possibly have links in reference to learning...or partying also! If you're a mom, you might have links to child sites. What about the common person who has a 9-5? The difference between male & female. Could you determine a person's character, sex, age, and addictions through their web browser history?
