What injury will the doc give me at least 2 weeks off work for?
Q. I know its naughty, but i want to go off on the sick from work, its for a good reason. What injury can i make up to get 2 weeks off work or more? I dont want the doctor to give me a sicknote and say come back in 2 weeks, cus i wont be in the country. Ill be with my love;) Thanks for the help

A. I would go with the whole "stressed" or depressed scenario personally. Cannot argue with it, plus you dont actually ahve to injure yourself. In order to be signed off of work...you would need to injure yourself pretty bad, so save that... say your getting headaches really badly at work, your heart feels like it is going to explode everytime something happens, and you can feel yourself tensing like your going to explode. Say you need some time off or something... either that or just say your really depressed... but I would go with stress, as depressed they may just give you anti-depressants and tell you to get on with it. Depends how sympathetic your doc really is, and ow much they believe mental health affects you!

A. I adopted a Senegal parrot several years ago. He was dropped off at the vet hospital I worked at because his people didn't want him anymore. The idea was to just keep him as the clinic pet, but he tried to bite all the technicians who tried to feed him, clean his cage, etc...No way we could keep him in the waiting room in case anyone put thier finger in his cage! One day we noticed that whenever I walked by he whistled, and said "Hello, sweetie!" (he had quite a vocabulary). To everyone's surprise, he 'stepped up' onto my finger and was as sweet as could be...but only with me. My boss decided I should take him home since the clinic pet idea wasn't working out, and no-one else could get near him. Same at home, he loved only me, would talk… [cont.]

What sort of injury would result from your hand or fingers going under somes feet ?

A. it would be a crushing injury. yes it would depend on what foot wear was worn to the severity of the injury. yes you would recover, maybe with some minor damage depending on what was caused in the first place... also depending on how hard your fingers were stepped on or stamped on
