Please help-contraction question?
Q. Okay this is the situation. I'm 40+ weeks pregnant and the whole day I have been having what I think are real contractions (severe pressure in my viginal area, shooting pain in my back, upper thighs and abdomon) They come and go and when they come they do not go away regardless of what I do and I have alot of discharge whenever I walk around. Do you think this is the beginning of labour or does this sound like false labour to you? Have you ever experienced this and did you go into labour?. The thing is that I am in Holland and the rules are as followed you have to wait until the contractions are 7 minutes apart for atleat an hour and then you call your doctor who comes over to your house, checks you and takes you to the hospital (hence you… [cont.]

A. I would start packing but it's not actual "labour" until the contractions are at regular time intervals (every 10 minutes, etc.) However, once that starts it could go quite fast and you don't want to be packing while you're in labour, believe me!! Every labour is different, and it sounds like you are having back labour (thighs and back) so if the contractions start to be regular and get stronger, bend over, lean on a chair, the table something to help relieve the pressure. Good luck!

Clomid help. Does clomid delay your cycle?
Q. I was put on Clomid the 15th of Sep. My cycle range from 24 days to 26 days apart. I am now on day 27 of my cycle. Most of the time I start to spot on the 25th at the lasted and start like I said on the 26th day. I found out on the fifth that I had over stimlation of the ovaries. I have swollen tender breast, cramps, back pain, nausa and this may be tmi but my viginal area looks brusied. I have taken HPT and always get a BFN. I can not figure out what is going on. Could I still be pregnant or is this a delayed cycle because of the clomid. I also know I ovalated on the 27th of Sep. Please help me understand what was going on. This is the first time that I used clomid. Also when they checked my prostrone on day 21 it was 69. Thanks for all… [cont.]

A. I just went through the same thing, I was on 50 mg of clomid cycle dates 3-7, my lmp was on sept 9. I know I ovulated on the 23rd. I was so sure I was pregnant, i had sore nipples, backache and nausea. I usually have a 24 day cycle, and kept taking hpt to only find bfn... Af started today on cycle date 34... so I guess I get to keep trying... that's the fun part anyways. To answer your question, it did delay my usual cycle.

A. Go to a clinic and check it out. Both of you! If it's an STI, it can be treated.
